First, let me tell you a little about what is involved with audiobook proofing. As an audiobook proofer, I’m listening for deviations from the author’s original manuscript, extraneous noises (either background sounds or distracting noises made by the narrator in his/her delivery), pronunciation, pacing, and character voice consistency. I make detailed notes in a Google Drive document which specify the chapter, the time where the error occurred, where in the manuscript it occurred, and the necessary correction. If another format is preferred, that can be accommodated.
